How We Work
At AUM Studios, we try to make the process of starting and developing projects as easy as possible for our clients. All projects will differ in some way, but we generally follow these steps:
Free Consultation: First, we setup a free consultation by phone or in person to get the scope of your project. During this meeting we will ask you a series of questions and will try to discuss the project as thoroughly as possible. Typically, we will have enough information from the initial consultation to move to the next step. For complex projects, a follow-up consultation may be required.
Project Estimate: After our initial consultation, we will review our notes and create an estimate for your project. In this estimate, we will break down the details of your project so you have an idea what each portion of the project will cost. We will also provide you with a rough timeline for completing your project.
-
Estimate Approval: Upon your approval of an estimate, we will begin working on your project immediately. At this time, we ask for a 25% deposit to begin work on a project. Typically, we will need to setup a conference to discuss the project in more detail. For example, if we are designing your web site, we would need to know what look and feel you would like your web site to have.
Working Together: We like to keep communication open and continuous throughout the development of a project. This is something that we feel is very important when creating a project to fit your specific needs. We generally communicate by email, but encourage you to call us any time you have questions or concerns. Typically, proofs are provided as email messages with links to a proof page.
Project Completion and Quality Assurance: After a project is complete, we like to get your feedback to be sure that the product has met your needs and that you're fully satisfied with the end result. We'll always do what we can to ensure that you're fully satisfied with your project.
Billing/Payment: Beyond a down payment, PDF invoices for outstanding balances are emailed on the first day of each month.
